I had always thought that something similar to a strong fingernail would be most helpful. This is exactly what I had hoped it would be.These were a tool that I had not heard of until I saw a guy mention them in a YouTube video. I’ve used them to scrape putty off the side of my RV, clear who knows what off of my desktop, and generally clear off stuff where a razor blade would just be too aggressive.I don’t have anything to compare to, as this is my first purchase using these, but I still feel they work pretty great! They get most stuff up on floors and walls and counter tops. It did leave a bit behind on the walls and floors, but my floors have grooves.Had some serious glue stuck inside the walls of an ammo can. This did the job well enough but if you try to put too much elbow grease into it, the plastic blade can fly off.I only wish I would’ve bought this sooner. Removed decals from windows and paint on a vehicle, all of which had been baked on for several years. A little adhesive remover and this product worked perfectly.Like but need to bare down harder than a regular razor bladeUse them on floors counter tops marble strong for what i use them forBought a ten-blade pack after really struggling to remove several bumper stickers that had been on my car for about 20 years. They were not paper-based, but more of a thin plastic type. The previous plastic tool I had and a glue/sticky residue removal spray were mostly ineffective, taking about an hour of hard labor, spraying and scraping repeatedly, with slow progress, even to just get one off. So, did a search on Amazon to see what I may find. These looked perfect for the task at hand. After these arrived, I was able to remove the other two bumper stickers in under 3 minutes!!! Blew me away. Was able to get the edge of the razor blade under the bumper stickers, and peel them off so easily. Just by using the plastic razor blades alone, with no residue removal spray. Again, these have been on my car for 20 years! Also, left absolutely no marks or damage to the paint on the bumper. Blades are strong, and have a nice edge to them. Not sharp enough to cut yourself, but they are certainly effective. Very happy with this product.I bought this product to remove RTV from engine surfaces. It wasn't the greatest for actually removing thick RTV, so I started with a razor blade. In order to keep from gouging the mating surfaces of the engine parts, I switched to the plastic razors after removing the bulk of the RTV from the surface.I almost forgot about the plastic razors since they were pretty ineffective at removing the thicker portion of the RTV, but I picked it up to see if it would work any better since I got the worst off with the razor and it worked really well at removing the remnants of the RTV. Don't be afraid to use a lot of force with the plastic razors as it won't scratch/gouge the metal surfaces and it tends to wear and form to bevels and channels making it more effective at removing the liquid gasket material.I found the plastic razors very useful for the above application. This works great when a razor blade is too much.
