Not as bright pink in person as it appears on the picture. These are wood beads. I also purchased plastic beads and I like those way better. The plastic beads are a nice smooth material all over and have bigger holes for thick textured hair to glide through easily.With these wooden beads once you look inside the hole you see split wood all inside, which can cause split ends. Now making my children's hair cute with beads isn’t worth damaging their hair. Now I have to find some type of tool to smooth out the inside of these beads before using them. I’m definitely sticking to only plastic barrel beads from now on.
