Works wondersPROS:1) Nice, but not overpowering fragrance2) Re-hydrates the skin very well3) Refreshing4) Pre-cut holes for eyes and mouth5) Plenty of serumCONS:1) A little on the high side2) Usual marketing quasi-scientific claimsMy wife loved this mask. She normally gets masks out of Boots or Superdrug at a much lower price point. She said that this is actually more effective than her usual, cheaper masks. With any of these cosmetic products/treatments, it’s important to follow the instructions. In this case, a thorough cleansing of the face, as with all masks, is vital for the best effect.Application is easy, remove the film from one side and apply, then smooth onto your face. Once the mask is applied covering all the contours, then peel off the other side. Leave for 20 minutes and it does the trick. My wife used this after having caught the sun. She said it felt like her skin was more hydrated and quicker to respond to the pinch test. (Skin ageing test where you pinch the skin lightly and observe how quickly it goes back to shape.)There are two minor downsides: 1) the price point may be too steep, though my wife wants more! Secondly, the marketing men are trying the old “blind them with science and baffle them with BS” trick. Niacinimide is Vitamin B3. Vitamin B3 is taken orally and is present in many foods like fish and eggs. Thus a balanced diet will supply you with the B3 needed. It is true, from the clinical studies that topical application of B3 (putting on the skin) can improve skin condition, including elasticity, reduction in the effects of ageing, and even improve skin conditions. My minor problem is the use of the words “Hi-Tech”. These compounds that they list have been known for decades. The research on their effects on the skin dates back to at least the late 1990s. With that off my chest, I can quite wholeheartedly recommend (or my wife can) this Seoulista Beauty Mask. It’s a little pricey, but she says it’s more effective than her current mask. This product is, therefore, DOTTORE APPROVED, buy it!I love face masks and having a good pamper, so when I saw this was like having an instant facial I really wanted to try it. It was a pleasant mask, but I can't say it's anything to write home about.Pros:- Smells really nice- Good sturdy mask that doesn't fall apart when you unfold it like some cheap masks- Thick amount of serum on mask and it just sits on the skin without running- Excess serum can be rubbed into neck and hands from pack- Ingredients which claim to scientifically make you look younger and plumper immediately- Skin feels super soft after useCons:- Haven't noticed a difference in pigmentation or eye bags- Mask doesn't fit around mouth very well- Very pricey for single use mask, and you only get one - not sure the result was worth itSo overall, I'd say that this is a nice pampering mask but it is not hugely different to masks I've bought in the shop; I can't say it's given me noticeable differences and that my skin looks better or has improved long term since use. My skin has been very soft, but I still have blocked pores and tired eye bags, so it seems to have moisturised my skin nicely, perhaps plumped it up a little but nothing permanent or beyond that unfortunately.Considering this is a premium face mask which has won awards, I wasn't blown away.First of all, actually applying the face mask is a pain. It has three layers, and you have to remove one layer, and then apply the mask, and then remove another layer, and quite honestly I'm not even sure I ended up with the right layer on my actual face. All layers were sodden with product, so I don't suppose it matters too much.Once the mask is on, it can be tricky to get it to adjust to your face shape and cover all areas of skin. I had bare areas of skin around my nose and under my eyes which arguably are some of the most important areas. It would have been so much easier if the mask had come in liquid form in a jar or a bottle for you to apply freehand to your face. And you'd have many more uses, too!Once I'd removed the mask, I massaged in the remaining product and let it dry.My face looked ok afterwards - quite glowy, quite smooth, and it felt hydrated and fresh. However, I didn't see miracles. There was no reduction in dark areas, and no lifting / anti-ageing effect. Also, my makeup didn't go on that well afterwards! It sort of 'pilled' into balls, and sat on top of my skin rather than melding with it.So, although I like the glow and the freshness that the face mask gives, I think the fabric face mask packaging is a bit of a gimmick and I think that for the price it doesn't give amazing results.Really like this face mask, never used anything like this before but it came up to review so I thought I'd give it a go.I lead quite an active lifestyle work/gym etc so I end up getting quite hot and mucky which obviously means my face can take a bit of a beating. I use a normal face wash but never really anything else.First off when you open the packet it smells really nice. There's quite a lot of the serum in the packet (more on that later) which makes the mask really slippy, I found it really fiddly to put on. There's 3 layers to the mask, a protective layer the mask and then another layer that holds the serum. I struggled to work out what was going on at first but got the mask on eventually.Let me tell you this isn't made for bearded men, I ended up looking like leatherface from Texas chainsaw. Saying that I got the mask on my forhead, nose and around my eyes. It felt very soothing, as mentioned there's some extra serum in the packet which you can rub into your neck and hands which was quite good. After the twenty minutes I took the mask off and I must say the skin on m face felt pretty good, soft and not dry at all.Overall this was an interesting experience and i'd probably have another go at a mask in future. Can recommend this product.I have received this Seoulista Beauty face mask to review, courtesy of the Amazon Vine scheme. This is the third face mask that I have tried from Seoulista Beauty, this one being by far the most expensive coming in at £13.20 on its current listing on Amazon. This one is its Diamond edition-sounds good but is it worth the additional expense? This a one of usage face mask, that comes in 3 layers,2 protective films need to be removed, which leaves the centre, which is the face mask itself. The facial mask is packed with serum and does feel very wet on your face.Initially,it doesn't feel that nice, but once it has time to settle starts to feel relaxing and enjoyable to use. After 20 minutes this beauty product removes to leave your face feeling fresh and fully moisturised.I am only going to award 3 stars though, because of the price. The product doesn't feel that much superior to their entry level facial masks. On the plus side their is plenty of spare serum to apply to your face and neck area, left over in the original packaging, that can be used at your leisure at a later date.
